Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Fabulator, operated by Mystery Digital Limited ("Fabulator", "we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using Fabulator, you agree to these Terms, including the Acceptable Use & Content Policy below. If you do not agree, do not use Fabulator.

Eligibility

Fabulator generates mature and, subject to your own opt-in choices, sexually explicit narrative content. Because of this, Fabulator is available only to adults.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to create an account or use Fabulator in any capacity — there is no under-18 tier of access.
By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide, including any identity or age verification, is true and accurate.
Misrepresenting your age or identity to gain access to Fabulator or its mature content is a violation of these Terms and will result in immediate account termination.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared, sold, or transferred.

AI-generated content

Fabulator's narration, dialogue, and imagery are generated by artificial intelligence models in response to your prompts and choices, resolved through a pluggable AI provider layer and a rules engine that validates mechanical outcomes before they take effect. Content you see during play — text and any generated images — is synthetic, created by AI rather than a human author, and is presented to you as part of an interactive fiction experience for that reason.

AI-generated content does not reflect real events, real people, or factual claims, even where it references real-world concepts.
Fabulator is an AI storytelling companion, not a source of real-world medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice — see "Disclaimers" below.
AI output passes through automated safety review before being shown to you or committed to your game state; see the Acceptable Use & Content Policy below for what is prohibited.

Acceptable Use & Content Policy

You may not use Fabulator, including its AI generation features, to create, request, upload, or attempt to produce any of the following, regardless of fictional framing. These restrictions apply to every input you provide and every output Fabulator generates, and cannot be disabled by any setting.

Any content depicting, describing, or sexualizing minors — including fictional, cartoon, or simulated depictions, and content involving subjects in diapers or other child-coded contexts.
Non-consensual sexual content, including depictions involving sleeping, incapacitated, or otherwise non-consenting subjects.
Deepfakes, or any content using the image, likeness, or voice of a real, identifiable person without their documented consent.
Incest-themed sexual content.
Bestiality or animal cruelty content.
Watersports content.
Extreme violence, abduction, or snuff/fantasy-snuff content.
Sexual activity depicted as occurring under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or hypnosis in a way that removes consent.
Content promoting or facilitating prostitution or escorting services.
Content promoting polygamous marriage arrangements as a real-world practice.
Instructions or encouragement for illegal activity, including weapons manufacturing, drug synthesis, or other criminal plotting.
Hate speech, or content promoting discrimination, violence, or hatred against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.
Using Fabulator as a substitute for licensed medical, legal, financial, or gambling/handicapping advice.

How we enforce this policy

Fabulator runs automated safety checks on every input and every generated output before it reaches you, independent of the storytelling model, and blocks or discards anything that violates this policy. Community-submitted content is reviewed before being shared publicly. Violations are logged, and we may warn, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts that violate this policy, without refund.

Automated pre- and post-generation safety review runs on every turn; content that fails is blocked before you see it.
Community-shared content (worlds, characters, scenarios) is held for review before it's visible to other players.
You can report content that appears to violate this policy through the support option in the app; we review and act on reports.
Violating this policy may result in content removal, feature restriction, or account suspension or termination at our discretion.

Real-person likeness and consent

If you upload or reference the image, likeness, or voice of a real, identifiable person, you must be able to provide documented consent from that person (such as a model release or signed consent form) on request. Content that includes a real person's image or likeness without documented consent, including AI-recreated or deepfake depictions, is prohibited under "Acceptable Use & Content Policy" above and will be removed.

Mature content settings

Every account starts with all mature content categories switched off. You can choose, individually, to opt in to categories like graphic violence, horror, or sexual content in your account settings; nothing in an unselected category is generated for you until you opt in. These settings are separate from, and do not override, the Acceptable Use & Content Policy above, which applies regardless of your settings.

Content ownership and license

You retain ownership of the prompts and creative choices you contribute. By using Fabulator, you grant us a license to store, process, and display the content generated in your sessions as needed to provide the service, including sharing content you explicitly choose to publish with other players. You may not upload or submit content that infringes another party's copyright or other intellectual property rights.

Disclaimers

Fabulator is provided "as is." AI-generated content may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or unexpected, and is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for violating these Terms — in particular the Acceptable Use & Content Policy — or for any conduct we reasonably believe is harmful to Fabulator, other users, or third parties.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Fabulator after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be noted on this page.
