Fabulator is a platform for playing and authoring interactive stories narrated by an AI game master. Pick a published World Seed and play it directly, or author your own using the Creator SDK and no-code world-building tools. Every turn is continuous narrated prose, not a chat log — the AI adapts the story to your choices while an underlying rules engine keeps outcomes fair and consistent.

Fabulator's Refunds Policy: when we issue a refund for a purchase and how the process works.

We may update this Refunds Policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page.

Changes to this policy

If you have questions about this policy or a specific purchase, contact us through the support option in the app.

NowPayments does not offer an automatic, self-service refund for a completed payment. A payment sent to the wrong asset, the wrong network, without a required memo, or below the minimum amount is corrected through NowPayments' own manual, support-mediated process, which we initiate on your behalf once you contact us. NowPayments may require you to verify that you were the original sender before returning funds to a different address; for some cryptocurrencies this involves a small "dust" transaction used only to confirm ownership, never to charge you further.

Crypto payment errors

We will issue a refund, in whole or in part, in the following situations:

When we issue a refund

Fabulator's purchases are settled in cryptocurrency through our payment processor, NowPayments. Once a payment is confirmed on the blockchain, it cannot be reversed automatically by NowPayments or by us — a completed purchase is final unless one of the situations below applies, and any refund is subject to the verification described in "How refunds are processed."

Purchases are final by default

A beat pack refund covers the full purchase price if none of the beats have been spent, or the unspent portion if some have. A subscription refund is prorated for the unused portion of the current billing period, based on the plan's price at the time of purchase. A refund is always paid back to the original payment address, in the original cryptocurrency, less any network fees that cannot be recovered.

How much is refunded

Contact us through the support option in the app and describe the purchase and the situation. Include your account email, the approximate date of the purchase, and, for a crypto payment error, the transaction ID and the address or network you actually used — this lets us locate the payment and, where NowPayments' involvement is required, provide it to their support team without back-and-forth.

How to request a refund

We do not issue refunds for a change of mind, for beat credits or subscription time you've already used, or for an account suspended or terminated for violating the Acceptable Use & Content Policy in our Terms of Service. Because Fabulator's payments are crypto-settled, card-network chargebacks do not apply to any purchase.

What isn't covered

This Refunds Policy explains when Fabulator (operated by Mystery Digital Limited) will issue a refund for a subscription or beat pack purchase, and how to request one. It supplements our Terms of Service and does not limit any right you have under applicable consumer-protection law.

Fabulator's Terms of Service and Acceptable Use & Content Policy.

You may not use Fabulator, including its AI generation features, to create, request, upload, or attempt to produce any of the following, regardless of fictional framing. These restrictions apply to every input you provide and every output Fabulator generates, and cannot be disabled by any setting.

Acceptable Use & Content Policy

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Your account

Fabulator's narration, dialogue, and imagery are generated by artificial intelligence models in response to your prompts and choices, resolved through a pluggable AI provider layer and a rules engine that validates mechanical outcomes before they take effect. Content you see during play — text and any generated images — is synthetic, created by AI rather than a human author, and is presented to you as part of an interactive fiction experience for that reason.

AI-generated content

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Fabulator after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be noted on this page.

Changes to these terms

If you upload or reference the image, likeness, or voice of a real, identifiable person, you must be able to provide documented consent from that person (such as a model release or signed consent form) on request. Content that includes a real person's image or likeness without documented consent, including AI-recreated or deepfake depictions, is prohibited under "Acceptable Use & Content Policy" above and will be removed.

Real-person likeness and consent

If you have questions about these Terms, contact us through the support option in the app.

Fabulator is provided "as is." AI-generated content may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or unexpected, and is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Disclaimers

Fabulator generates mature and, subject to your own opt-in choices, sexually explicit narrative content. Because of this, Fabulator is available only to adults.

Eligibility

Fabulator runs automated safety checks on every input and every generated output before it reaches you, independent of the storytelling model, and blocks or discards anything that violates this policy. Community-submitted content is reviewed before being shared publicly. Violations are logged, and we may warn, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts that violate this policy, without refund.

How we enforce this policy

You retain ownership of the prompts and creative choices you contribute. By using Fabulator, you grant us a license to store, process, and display the content generated in your sessions as needed to provide the service, including sharing content you explicitly choose to publish with other players. You may not upload or submit content that infringes another party's copyright or other intellectual property rights.

Content ownership and license

Every account starts with all mature content categories switched off. You can choose, individually, to opt in to categories like graphic violence, horror, or sexual content in your account settings; nothing in an unselected category is generated for you until you opt in. These settings are separate from, and do not override, the Acceptable Use & Content Policy above, which applies regardless of your settings.

Mature content settings

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Fabulator, operated by Mystery Digital Limited ("Fabulator", "we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using Fabulator, you agree to these Terms, including the Acceptable Use & Content Policy below. If you do not agree, do not use Fabulator.

Agreement to these terms

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for violating these Terms — in particular the Acceptable Use & Content Policy — or for any conduct we reasonably believe is harmful to Fabulator, other users, or third parties.
